Winter 2021-2022: Week of January 3rd-9th

The four water cooler sheds have been refurbished and repairs made where necessary. They were cleaned, lightly sanded, and then stained black to match with other course accessories.

The brush growing along the hillside to the left of #7 tee was also cut down and removed. Repeated maintenance of this hillside will prevent it from becoming overgrown again and make subsequent work easier.

Rain on frozen ground resulted in some standing water on greens. Efforts were made to remove water before ice formed and snow accumulated.

Cut drain on low point of the green helps limit standing water on frozen turf. Effectiveness of Winnie (golf maintenance dog) still to be determined.



Maintenance of native areas was also continued ahead of approaching snowfall.
