We are just about fully healed from greens aeration. The recent below average temperatures have not helped with that last little push of growth that we need. The topdressing mowers have been replaced with our usual greens mowers. Height has been lowered and we can start working on speed and consistency. Plant growth regulators and poa controls have started which will also help with speed and consistency.

The grass tee of the range will open for use weather permitting on Saturday, May 25th. It will be open weekends, weather permitting, moving forward as well as Tuesday morning. On June 17th and June 18th the synthetic hitting area will be replaced with new synthetic material. On the days the synthetic is being installed we will be utilizing the grass tee. On the weekend of June 21st and June 22nd the synthetic will be utilized. We will then resume the normal range schedule moving forward.

The area on 18 where the cart path was removed will be sodded the week of May 26th.
The new tee on 8 is scheduled to open Saturday, May 31. The sod needs a little longer to root. As mentioned previously, agronomy was not happy with the way the rough sod came in from the farm, but it is doing better. When we sod the area on 18 we may replace a few pieces of rough sod on an as needed basis.
