The agronomy team has been focused on fall cleanup and turf winter prep over the past few weeks. My team has done a good job with fall cleanup. Other than day's where we have had extreme wind, the course has been very playable. Unfortunately, the landscape company for the residential areas of the property has not blown backyards as of yet. Leaves blowing onto the course from backyards has been a source of frustration for our cleanup efforts. My primary focus at this juncture is turf health and a successful start to the 2026 season. The agronomy team still has a lot to wrap up in the coming weeks.

I have received quite a few questions about the greens covers on 15. This hillside was overseeded with fescue late in the season. The covers were installed to help in heat and moisture retention in an effort to get the seed germinated and established before winter sets in. We currenly have good germination under the cover.

We are also wrapping up a few small beatification projects on the course.

The area by the first tee white tee was recently sodded.

Sod was also installed to the second cart exit point on the 9th hole. Prep work has now begun for the first cart exit point. Once this is sodded carts will be exiting before the fairway bunker for the remainder of the season.

We also completed making a repair to the right bunker nose of the 17th fairway bunker.

Work has begun in preparation for sodding the 6th green walk on.

The 6th hole well pipe running through the woods to the irrigation pond on 5 has also been painted brown so it blends in better with the surrounding woods.

We also took the opportunity this Monday to pull a few fallen trees out of the first pond along the 6th fairway.
