Cart Policy Change for 9/1

Starting Thursday, September 1 the Ipswich Cart Path rule will be back in effect. Carts may exit the paths and travel 90 degrees to the fairway and travel down the fairway to the cart signs. Once at the cart signs please exit 90 degrees to the cart path and remain on the path for the rest of the hole. Exiting at the cart signs will be very important as we will be using the signs to protect sensitive areas.

Par 3’s and holes 2 and 3 will remain strictly cart path only as always. In addition, holes 9,14,15 will remain cart path only as we seed and allow these fairways to recover. A reminder will be posted at the tee that these holes will remain cart path only.

We are still very much in a drought and will be monitoring irrigation water supply, weather, recovery, seeding, and cart traffic. At anytime we might add or lesson the number of holes that are cart path only.

The entire agronomy team would like to thank the membership for their cooperation in this long period of cart path only. It has truly made a huge difference.
