Aeration has been completed to all 22 greens here at the ICC. Weather conditions made this process more time consuming and difficult then we would have liked. Regardless, aeration is vital to both the short term health of the greens and the long-term success of the golf course. We would ask that members keep this in mind when filling out course surveys in the coming days following aeration. If your reason for rating greens poorly is due to them having been recently aerated then we would prefer if you simply did not rate greens at all. The greens are intentionally in the condition they are in for their own betterment. A low score on course surveys is there to reflect subpar/inadequate course conditions, not the result of vital agronomic practices that required multiple 12 hour days from my staff and I.
